Insta360 X5 Now Supported for ClassicMode in the JobWalk App
Exciting news for JobWalk app users: the latest app update on both iOS and Android, version 2.13, now supports ClassicMode for the Insta 360 X5 360° camera. If you have disabled auto-updates, make sure to update your app manually via the App Store or Play Store.
Take advantage of the X5’s impressive features, including up to 72 MP resolution with its 1/1.28” sensors, a larger 2400 mAh battery, and durable, replaceable lenses.
Intercom App Chat Integration
Sphere XG has just received an update that introduces a seamless integration with the Intercom application, significantly enhancing customer communication and support. Users can now access real-time chat with our dedicated support team directly within Sphere XG by navigating to the “Resource Center” menu in the top right corner via the “?” icon and selecting “Chat with us”. An orange dot notification will alert you to unread messages, making it even easier for users to get the help they need.
This integration, available on both US and EU servers, also allows users to browse help articles within the Help Center. As Intercom is an external application, please make sure to accept cookies to utilize this feature.
Original Point Cloud Rendering Option Added
For users seeking a straightforward and precise visualization of their scan data, Sphere XG now offers the “Original” point cloud rendering option. Accessible within the view settings menu by sliding the point cloud rendering slider fully to the right, this new mode renders point clouds with a point size of 1px and without any additional effects.
This provides a clean, clear view of the raw point cloud data, ideal for detailed inspection and analysis. Be sure to check it out!
New Icons for Measurement Annotations
We’ve updated the icon used for annotations, as well as the icon used for measurement annotations stored in the project.
We made this change to help you easily tell apart measurements saved within your project from those only available in your current session.
Search for Assignees in Annotations
When creating annotations, you can now simply search for names in the assignee field, removing the need to manually search the list. Additionally, the UI has been improved to clearly show the annotation as Unassigned by default. This little, but handy improvement helps you save time and streamline your workflows.
