PDF 360° Progress Reporting
You can now generate PDF reports from your 360° captures directly from within the platform. Generate reports with annotations, measurements, and overview maps directly from Sphere XG.
Your report stays downloadable for 30 days for stakeholder convenience, complete with pinned room locations, 2D photos with accompanying tags, and panoramas. This function will be expanded to support scan data.
Snapshots for Selective Project Sharing
We have introduced a brand-new viewing option and sharing concept in Sphere XG that enables filtered, view-only copies of your projects in 360°. Share specific snapshots and portions of your project with different stakeholders without showing the full project.
Filters include date, location, categories, and tags, with snapshots shareable via link or to a specific person, all conveniently managed within the project list.
Upload your SiteScape Scans to Sphere XG
For users migrating their SiteScape scans, this update now includes Sphere XG as an upload target. You can log on to Sphere XG directly from the SiteScape app, switch between cloud backend selections, and route your uploads to Sphere XG. This provides a clear avenue for users who wish to avoid losing their SiteScape scans.
Added Support for ZEB Horizon Datasets
We have added support for cloud processing of ZEB Horizon scan datasets in Sphere XG. This provides a way for users to process raw scans in the cloud-based platform.
New File Downloader for Large Files
We’ve introduced a new browser-based download manager that makes downloading large files and exports faster and more robust. The download manager handles even your biggest datasets reliably. Sphere XG automatically uses this download manager for large files, ensuring low memory usage and up to 9x speed improvements.
Expanded LAS/LAZ V1.4 Export Capabilities
This latest update lets you select between LAS/LAZ versions 1.2 and 1.4 when exporting point clouds, with 1.4 effectively removing any download limits. Exports are no longer limited according to size, benefiting power users and organizations with larger datasets.
Set Area Scales Diagonally
This update allows you to use the “Set Area Scale” function in any diagonal direction, no longer limited to horizontal and vertical directions. You can now draw scale reference lines in any direction.
