Autodesk Construction Cloud Integration
We’re excited to announce that Sphere XG seamlessly integrates with Autodesk Construction Cloud®, bringing your immersive reality capture data directly into one of the industry’s most widely used project management platforms. This integration allows you to access your 360° photos and point clouds right from your ACC Dashboard, eliminating the friction of switching between systems.

When you create annotations in Sphere XG, you can sync them with Autodesk Issues or RFIs, carrying over critical details like assignee information, due dates, issue types, and status updates. Issues and RFIs are synced both ways, meaning any edits you make in Sphere XG will also be reflected in ACC and vice versa. Each issue in ACC will include a snapshot of your reality capture data and a direct link back to Sphere XG for full visual context when detailed investigation is needed.
Added Functionalities
Create and Rename Location Markers
You can now add custom location markers directly in Sphere XG. Field teams using the JobWalk App to take 360° photos on-site will see a notification in the app, so they know which locations need documentation.
To add a location marker, go to the 2D overview mode via the icon on the bottom left, which will display the floor plan or overview map. Select the “Edit waypoints and location markers” button on the right, then select the location marker icon (flag with plus symbol). Click anywhere on your floor plan to place a location marker and give it a name. Once you click “Apply changes”, the location marker will also appear in the project tree. Try it out now!
Manual 360° Photo Upload
We’ve enhanced your documentation capabilities with the option to upload 360° photos manually through Sphere XG. You can easily add 360° photos to existing 360° photos as a time travel or to a location marker by simply selecting the three dots to the right of the desired capture and clicking “Add 360° photo”.
This feature is particularly valuable for supplementing existing scan data with additional visual context, completing documentation of areas that may have been missed during initial capture sessions, or quickly adding single progress photos from handheld 360° cameras.
Ordering Waypoints and Sheets in Project Tree
Organizing your reality capture data has gotten a small but handy upgrade: you can now reorder sheets and 360° photos directly within the project tree. This provides the flexibility to structure your content according to your specific workflow requirements, whether you prefer organizing by construction phases, trade sequences, or priority levels. Simply drag and drop your data to the desired position.
Additional Language Options Added
We’ve expanded our language support to nine languages! You can now use Sphere XG in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Mandarin Chinese. Change your language settings in Sphere XG by clicking on your profile > Language, or by accessing your “Account & Security” settings then selecting Preferences > Language.
