Background
Founded in 2008, Wulverhorst is based near Utrecht, Netherlands, where they provide a comprehensive range of services across construction, renovation, and maintenance, serving clients in sectors such as retail, offices, hospitality, and research facilities. With an emphasis on design-and-build integration, Wulverhorst manages both the creative and technical aspects of projects, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and high-quality execution from concept to completion.
Challenge
As the marketplace became more competitive, Wulverhorst sought more than just 360° photos. A while after implementing SiteScape™, a 3D scanning and reality capture app designed for iPhones and iPads equipped with LiDAR sensors, the team was eager to level up their scanning efforts. The goal was to introduce point clouds into their workflows and capture larger spaces with greater accuracy.
Solution
The company began adopting increasingly sophisticated digital reality capture solutions to measure, document, and plan their clients’ work. First with off-the-shelf 360° cameras and soon after, the HoloBuilder™ cloud-based construction management platform. Later, the company upgraded to FARO Sphere® XG Digital Reality Platform and in June 2025 acquired the FARO® Blink™ Imagining Laser Scanner.

Results
With Sphere XG and Blink working in tandem, users could take consistent 360° and 3D captures, automatically sync them to the cloud, and track progress through a visual timeline that showed exactly how a project evolved day by day. This made it far easier to verify work completion, resolve disputes, and reference hidden infrastructure before walls were closed.
In just 5 months, Wulverhorst estimates they have improved their project workflow efficiency by 20%, requiring fewer jobsite return visits thanks to more accurate floor plans and the ability to detect structural and alignment errors in superior detail.
This time saving has a positive knock-on effect, freeing up the company to pursue new business, faster, shift funds accordingly (including marketing efforts) and in general, remain at the top of their game.
